Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel met with her Vietnamese counterpart Bui Thanh Son, Gabriel said on Friday in a Facebook post. 

Bulgaria and Vietnam have traditionally good relations, and in 2025 we will celebrate 75 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, Gabriel said. She added that the focus of the talks with Bui Thanh Son were digitalization, energy, education, agriculture, tourism and information and communication technologies. 

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel will take part in the ministerial forum on cooperation with the Indo-Pacific region, the EU-ASEAN ministerial meeting and the Gymnich informal meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels on February 2-3, 2024, her ministry's press office said on Friday.
