There are a few alerts about persons connected with the President's administration, Interior Ministry Secretary General Zhivko Kotsev told journalists here on Thursday. The report on the matter has been classified and submitted to the prosecution service, he added.

According to him, the alerts are about corruption and abuse of power. They date from 2021 and 2022 and had been submitted to the prosecution office.

On Tuesday, Zhivko Kotsev said that a check has confirmed that there had been alerts of foul play involving presidential administration staffers. He said that details will become clear in the final report from the check that was ordered into the matter by the Interior Minister, and that the report is still due.
