site.btaPM Denkov, Deputy PM Gabriel to Appear in Parliament’s First Question Time for 2024

Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov and Deputy Prime Minister Mariya Gabriel will answer questions from MPs in the first for the year session of Question Time, according to the programme of the National Assembly on Friday.  

The sitting of Parliament will start at 9:00. In addition to Denkov and Gabriel, the MPs will ask questions of Ministers of Interior Kalin Stoyanov, of Regional Development Andrey Tsekov, of Education and Science Galin Tsokov, of Health Hristo Hinkov, of Culture Krastyu Krastev, of Environment Julian Popov, of Agriculture Kiril Vatev, of Economy Bogdan Bogdanov and of e-Government Alexander Yolovski.

On Thursday, the MPs gathered for their first meeting after the Christmas and New Year holidays. The new plenary session of the 49th National Assembly was solemnly opened with the anthem of the Republic of Bulgaria and the anthem of the European Union, and the parliamentary groups made statements on their priorities for the new political season.
