Bulgarian comedian Julia Stoyanova won the Best Producer award for 2023 of the Chicag-based magazine The Comedy Gazelle, reported the Bulgarian-language website Bulgaria SEGA (Bulgaria Now). She was presented the award during the 2023 Gazellies: Annual Comedy Awards Show at the Den Theatre on January 4.

Stoyanova won against three other finalists.

The Bulgarian comedian was born in the Black Sea city of Varna. In 2016 she graduated in acting from the Sofia Film and Theatre Academy. A week after graduation, she moved to the US where she started a career in stand-up comedy. In 2021 she set up the RED ROOM Comedy Club. In 2023 she was hired by the fastest growing comedy theatre in Chicago. In the past six months, she had worked with David Letterman, Tom Segura and John Mulaney.
