Topics related to the security of the Bulgarian community and the integration of Bulgarians who live in the province of Varese were discussed by the Bulgarian Consul General in Milan, Ana Paskaleva, and the Prefect of Varese, Salvatore Pasquariello, said the Bulgarian Consulate General in Milan on its official website.

During the working meeting, the desire for cooperation was confirmed on both sides. The services of the Legalizations office in the Prefecture were identified as the most sought after by Bulgarian citizens. 

Ana Paskaleva also held a meeting with the city's Questor, Michele Morelli, who confirmed that there were no problematic cases with the Bulgarian community on the city's territory. 

"The concern and willingness of the Consulate General in Milan to maintain contact with the Questura in Varese was highly appreciated. The Questor said that most of the crimes in the area are committed in Gallarate, Legnano, Busto Arsizio, bordering the province of Milan, the Bulgarian Consulate General in the Italian city also indicated.
