The Government Thursday adopted the Flood Risk Management Plans for the four river basin districts - Black Sea, Eastern White Sea, Western White Sea and Danube - for the period 2022-2027. The national implementation programmes were also adopted.
By adopting the documents, Bulgaria fulfilled its commitment under Article 14(3) of Directive 2007/60/EC on the assessment and management of flood risks.
