site.btaFormer National Football Team Head Coach Yasen Petrov Appointed as Coach of Chinese Qingdao Hainiu

Former head coach of the Bulgarian national football team, Yasen Petrov, was officially introduced as the coach of the Chinese Qingdao Hainiu. The team is in the Chinese Super League and ranked 13th at the end of this year's season. Petrov succeeded Spaniard Antonio Gomez in the post.

The Chinese championship is scheduled to start in the spring and end in November.

Yasen Petrov is returning to the coaching profession after a break of a year and a half. He last led Bulgaria's national team in 2021 and 2022.
