site.btaPresident Radev to Pay Two-day Official Visit to Kosovo

President Rumen Radev will pay an official visit to Kosovo on December 22 - 23 at the invitation of President Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, Radev's press office said on Thursday. 

The focus of the visit will be the development and deepening of bilateral relations, cooperation in areas of mutual interest, Kosovo's European perspective and the development of the Bulgarian community in the country. Emphasis will also be placed on regional stability and cooperation in Southeast Europe. 

On December 22, Radev and Osmani-Sadriu will hold a tete-a-tete meeting, chair plenary talks between the two countries' delegations and hold a joint press conference. On the same day, Radev will meet Kosovo's Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Pristina Municipality Mayor Perparim Rama.

On December 23 Radev will meet representatives of the Bulgarian community and the leaders of their associations in Kosovo. Earlier in the day, Radev will hold a meeting with the commander of the NATO peacekeeping mission in Kosovo, Major General Ozkan Ulutas, and with the Bulgarian contingent participating in the mission.
