Young Bulgarian contemporary artist David Tadese presents his first solo exhibition in the Bobbina Cultural Space. The exhibition is entitled "Disintegration" and consists of over 20 works. It can be viewed from December 5 to 12, the organizers said.
The gallery noted that the works deal with the themes of the inevitable disruption of integrity and order, and the possible rearrangement of elements. "The author experiments both with different techniques and formats, as well as with diverse sources of inspiration - from classical pictorial techniques to African tribal decorations and symbols," they added.
Bilyana Tokmakchieva and Boyana Raycheva curated the project. The exhibition is part of the Bobbina Cultural Space ‘s initiative to encourage young artists and support the development of artistic micro-communities in Sofia by providing them with terrain and occasions for meetings, the organizers said.
David Tadese graduated in graphics at the Iliya Petrov National Institute of Fine Arts and majored in Painting at the National Academy of Arts. He works with diverse materials - acrylic paints, latex, sprays, stencils, charcoal on paper, wood, glass.
