site.btaSwimmer Petar Mitsin Sets New National Record in 1,500 m Freestyle
Bulgarian swimmer Petar Mitsin set a new national record in men's 1,500m freestyle on the first day of the Bulgarian Short Course Championships in Burgas.
Mitsin finished in 14:45.49 minutes and became the first Bulgarian swimmer to go under the 15-minute mark in the discipline. The previous record in the 1500m freestyle in the 25m pool was held by Ventsislav Aydarski - 15:04.27 minutes in 2009.
