site.btaBG-ALERT Warning System to Be Tested in 14 Regions in Bulgaria on Friday

Functional tests of the early warning and notification system BG-ALERT will be conducted in 14 regions of the country, the Interior Ministry said on Friday.

The system will be activated in real time from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m. in Burgas, Varna, Vidin, Vratsa, Kardzhali, Montana, Pazardzhik, Pernik, Pleven, Plovdiv, Ruse, Vratsa, Smolyan and Stara Zagora. 

The Interior Ministry reminds that within the test mode voice messages for technical check and sound signals will be broadcast.

BG-ALERT tests began on November 7 and will end on November 29 with a countrywide test.
