National and World Economy University Library Reopens after Major Upgrade

The library of the University of National and World Economy reopened Tuesday after a major upgrade. Arriving for the opening event, Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov was met by a library assistant robot whose job is to help visitors find their way inside the library and answer their questions.

In his remarks on the occasion, the Prime Minister commended the efforts of the Rector, Prof. Dimiter Dimitrov, and his team for making the library upgrade project their priority. He dwelled on the importance of technologies in getting fast access to knowledge anywhere in the world, and said that in this department Bulgaria is where it should be, "but only needs some more time to catch up".

Before the opening of the library, Prime Minister Denkov delivered a lecture before students on Bulgaria and the eurozone.
