August 17 (BTA) - Bulgaria's monthly inflation for July 2020 was 0.5 per cent, the National Statistical Institute reported on Monday. The inflation rate since the beginning of the year (July 2020 compared to December 2019) was minus 0.5 per cent, and the annual inflation in July 2020 compared to July 2019 was 1.2 per cent.

The annual average inflation, measured by the Consumer Price Index, in the last 12 months (August 2019 -July 2020) compared to the previous 12 months (August 2018 -July 2019), was 2.6 per cent. RI/LG
