"What has happened in recent days is not good, reprehensible things have happened," GERB leader Boyko Borissov told journalists after voting in Sofia. He criticized those who have created doubt about the fairness of the vote.
He is of the opinion that the Friday decision of the CEC was right. "So that people can go vote in peace," he said.
Let these elections pass so that the best voting options can be discussed in parliament, Borissov said.
According to him, despite the scandal with the voting machines, it is better to have a government, a working parliament, so that important laws can be passed - changes in the Constitution, the judiciary, the president's veto overturned, a budget for next year. "We have to swallow our pride now with these elections," the GERB leader said.
Borissov said he voted for Sofia to continue to be governed well, and assured that he would congratulate the new mayor of the capital, whoever they are.
