"I voted for a fairer Sofia, especially for a transparent, sincere, moral and honest governance of Sofia in the next four years," Vazrazdhane candidate for capital mayor Deyan Nikolov told journalists after he voted in Sofia.
"I also hope the City Council will be highly adequate to the needs of Sofia, that we will be able to pay more attention to the outer quarters of the city in the next four years and start on a slightly different path, because Sofia can do much more, Nikolov said.
He expressed hope that the elections are fair despite the machine voting controversy.
