Bulgaria's Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov will take part in a European Council meeting in Brussels on October 26-27, the Government Information Service said. The EU leaders will discuss the situation in Ukraine and the Middle East, the mid-term revision of the EU’s multiannual financial framework, economy, and migration. 

Prior to the meeting, Denkov will confer with European Commission Vice President Vera Jourova and Reporters Without Borders representatives.

Restoring the Middle East peace process is the only way forward, European Council President Charles Michel said in a letter to European Union (EU) heads of state and government ahead of their meeting in Brussels. He said the EU would reiterate its call for the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages.
