site.btaEducation Ministry: Some 1,900 University Staff Teach Future Teachers

Around 1900 university-level teachers from 26 universities in 12 cities in Bulgaria are preparing future teachers, Minister of Education and Science Galin Tzokov said during a seminar about digital transformation in the training of future teachers at the University of Veliko Tarnovo, the Education and Science Ministry reported here on Tuesday.

Tzokov said 600 of these teachers have already been trained under the Ministry of Education and Science's national programme for improving the competencies of public university teachers who are preparing future teachers. Its aim is to make the training of students in education more competent and practically oriented, as well as to develop skills in using modern digital technologies in teaching.
