According to Bulgarian diplomatic missions abroad, 37 Bulgarian citizens and their family members in the region have sought assistance to leave the Gaza Strip. This was announced by Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel at a Council of Ministers briefing on Wednesday. “We are looking at options to assist their evacuation,” she added. 

The Foreign Affairs Ministry is in constant contact with the diplomatic missions of Bulgaria in Tel Aviv, Cairo and Ramallah, and in close coordination with other EU member and partner countries.
