The Skupi International Theatre Festival, which began on October 5 and was held under the motto " Shine in the theatre", presented theatre productions of theatres from Kosovo, Turkiye, France, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bulgaria, as well as a performance, a product of a workshop, directed by Tea Begovska from North Macedonia.

This year, the audience had the opportunity to see an exhibition of posters from all 17 editions of the festival, "which offers audiences performances from different countries in which new trends in theatre are not only for artistic purposes, but which also challenge critical thinking about contemporary socio-political challenges," the Skupi International Theatre Festival says on its website.

It is competitive and a special jury awards a prize for the best play. It is held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of North Macedonia, the Bulgarian Cultural Information Centre in Skopje, the French Institute and the Albanian Theatre - Skopje.
