Bulgarian Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov will host a trilateral meeting with prime ministers Kyriakos Mitsotakis of Greece and Ion-Marcel Ciolacu of Romania, which will be held at Euxinograd Residence near the Black Sea city of Varna on Monday.

The Bulgarian delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel, Finance Minister Assen Vassilev, Transport Minister Georgi Gvozdeykov, Energy Minister Rumen Radev, Regional Development Minister Andrey Tsekov, Environment Minister Julian Popov. The delegation arrived with the government's Airbus.

The Romanian delegation is expected to include Deputy Prime Minister Marian Neacsu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Catalin Predoiu, Minister of Investments and European Projects Adrian Cacciu.

On the Greek side, Infrastructure and Transport Minister Christos Staikouras and Environment and Energy Minister Theodoros Skylakakis are expected to join the talks.

The talks will also be attended by European Commission Vice President Margaritis Schinas, European Commissioner for Transport Adina Valean and Moldova's Energy Minister Victor Parlicov.

The meeting will focus on regional connectivity, more specifically a future Greece-Bulgaria-Romania corridor from Thessaloniki via Kavala, Alexandroupolis, Burgas and Varna to Constanta, with a possible extension to Moldova. The idea is to build up-to-date transport, communication and energy infrastructure along the route to bolster the participating countries' economic and political relations.

The meeting was proposed by the Bulgarian government leader during a visit to Athens in August.
