Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) President Julian Revalski met with Ukrainian Ambassador to Bulgaria Olesya Ilashchuk, the BAS press centre said here on Thursday. The two reached an agreement that BAS will participate in the organization of events commemorating the 105th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Ukraine.

Revalski presented to Ilashchuk the long-standing cooperation between scientists from the two countries, while she expressed gratitude to BAS for the assistance the Academy provides to Ukrainian scientists and their families who sought refuge in Bulgaria after the beginning of the war in Ukraine.
