site.btaDeputy PM Gabriel to Take Part in EU Foreign Ministers' Informal Meeting in Toledo, Spain

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mariya Gabrielbwill participate in an informal meeting of EU foreign affairs ministers (Gymnich) in Toledo, Spain, on August 30-31, 2023, her ministry said here Wednesday. 

The meeting will discuss the Russian military aggression against Ukraine and the situation in Sahel and Niger.A working breakfast is also scheduled to take place with the participation of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, as well as a working lunch with the participation of Niger's Foreign Minister Hassoumi Massaoudou and the President of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Commission, Omar Touray.

In the framework of the meeting, Gabriel will also hold bilateral meetings with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borell, with German Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs Annalena Baerbock and with Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky.

Defence Minister Todor Tagarev will be in Toledo, Spain, from August 30 to 31. He will participate in the informal meeting of the EU Defence Ministers.
