site.bta9,082 PCR Tests Confirm 3,280 New COVID-19 Cases, Bringing Bulgaria's Total to 155,193

Sofia, December 4 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases
 in Bulgaria reached 155,193 after PCR tests identified 3,280
new infections in the 24 hours until Thursday midnight,
according to data posted on www.coronavirus.bg. The test
positivity rate now stands at 36.12 per cent.

A total of 999,867 PCR tests have been performed since the first
 infections were diagnosed on March 8.

The active cases are 93,549. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 6,766, including 523 in intensive care.

Another 1,935 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 57,141.

One hundred and fifty-six more fatalities were reported, and the
 death toll now totals 4,503. NV/LG
