site.bta3,600 New COVID-19 Cases, 147 Fatalities Confirmed in 24 Hours

December 5 (BTA) - A total of 3,614 people have been
diagnosed with coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours,
out of 9,530 PCR tests performed, according to data on the
national coronavirus portal on Saturday morning.

The total confirmed cases in Bulgaria since the beginning of the
 pandemic are 158,807, out of 1,009,397 PCR test performed.

The active cases are 94,480.

In the past 24 hours, 147 people have died from the infection
bringing the death toll to 4,650.

A total of 2,536 people recovered in the past 24 hours, with the
 total number reaching 59,677 recovered patients.

Hospitalized coronavirus patients are currently 6,744, 504 of
which are in intensive care units. RY/DT
