Budget Committee Holds Hearing of Two Candidates for BNB Deputy Governors
Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) Governor Dimitar Radev called Petar Chobanov and Andrey Gyurov "worthy candidates" for his sub-governors. Chobanov is a candidate to head the Central Bank's Banking Department, Gyurov - the Issuance Department. "These two positions, for which they applied, are essential, so I was guided mainly by the professional and personal qualities of the candidates," Radev added during their presentation to the parliamentary budget committee on Monday.
