site.btaBulgaria Registers 3,328 New COVID-19 Cases in 24h, Positivity Rate at 38.79 %

December 10 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 171,493 after 8,578 PCR tests identified 3,328 new infections in the 24 hours until Wednesday midnight, according to data posted on www.coronavirus.bg on Thursday. That makes a test positivity rate of 38.79 per cent.

The active cases are 94,132. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 6,998, including 544 in intensive care.

Another 3,050 COVID-19 patients recovered in the 24 hours to Wednesday midnight, bringing the total to 72,078.

A total of 127 more fatalities were reported, and the death toll now stands at 5,283.
