site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 2,743 New Cases in Bulgaria Wednesday and 35% Positivity Rate

December 16 (BTA) - There are 2,743 new coronavirus cases
 in Bulgaria after 7,737 PCR tests done in the 24 hours until
Wednesday midnight, according to the national coronavirus
information platform. This makes a rate of positive tests of 35
per cent.

The total number of coronavirus infections now total 184,287
since the start of the pandemic in March, including 90,347
active cases.

Coronavirus hospitalizations total 6,997, including 582 patients
 in intensive care.

The coronavirus metrics also shows 2,357 recoveries and 167
