site.bta1,739 New COVID-19 Cases Reported in 24 Hours

Sofia, December 19 (BTA) - There were a total of 1,739 new coronavirus cases reported in the 24 hours until Saturday out of 6,190 PCR tests, shows data posted on coronavirus.bg. This brings the total of confirmed cases to 190,027, of which 86,909 are active.

A total of 157 people with COVID-19 infections have died in the 24 hours preceding Saturday, bringing the total death toll to 6,496.

A total of 6,535 people were hospitalized, of whom 536 were in intensive care. A total of 2,894 people have recovered from the disease in 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 96,622. The number of PCR tests administered so far is 1,096,621. MY
