Bulgarian Deputy Foreign Minister Irena Dimitrova met with Ukrainian Ambassador here Olesya Ilashchuk, the Foreign Ministry said. 

The two discussed the results of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s landmark visit to Bulgaria on July 6 2023. Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitrova reaffirmed Bulgaria’s consistent and categorical support for Ukraine, including for its European and Euro-Atlantic perspective 

Within the context of advancing bilateral cooperation on key issues of mutual interest, the sides discussed prospects in the area of strategic communications and countering disinformation and Ukraine’s integration in the EU.
