site.bta332 New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in 24 Hours, Positivity Rate at 11.81%

December 28 (BTA) - A total of 332 people have been  
diagnosed with coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours,
out of 2,810 tests (1,906 PRC tests and 904 antigen tests)
performed, according to data on the national coronavirus portal
posted Monday morning. The test  positivity rate currently
stands at around 11,81 per cent.
    
The total number of COVID-19 infections in Bulgaria has reached
 197,716.

The active cases are 79,544. Currently, the hospitalized  
patients number 5,571, including 523 in intensive care.

A total of 111,008 people have recovered from the virus, up by
1,266 in the last 24 hours.

In the past 24 hours there were 41 fatalities, which brings the
death toll up to 7,164.
