site.btaBulgaria Registers 337 New Cases Over Past 24 Hours

December 29 (BTA) - A total of 337 new cases of COVID-19
were registered in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours, according to
 www.coronavirus.bg on Tuesday morning.

The new cases were found out of 2,369 PCR tests for a positivity
 rate of 14.23 per cent.

The number of confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic in
 Bulgaria reached 198,053 of whom 78,319 are active.

Another 1,475 people recovered from the virus since yesterday.
With 87 new fatalities, the death toll reached 7,251.

Hospitals are treating 5,511 people of whom 504 are in intensive
 care units.
