site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 1,438 New Cases and 17% Positivity Rate in Bulgaria on Wednesday

Sofia, December 30 (BTA) - There are 1,438 new coronavirus cases
 in Bulgaria after 8,084 tests done in the 24 hours to the
beginning of Wednesday, according to the national coronavirus
information platform.

The new cases add up to a total of 199,491 since the start of
the pandemic. 76,684 of them are active cases.

The tests done since the start of the pandemic in March total
1,141,072.

The new recoveries stand at 2,919 and add up to 115,402 since
the start of the pandemic.

The coronavirus death toll is 7,405, including 154 deaths in the
 Wednesday update.

A total of 5,023 are in hospital, including 474 in intensive
