site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 274 New Cases, Test Positivity Rate at 11%

Sofia, January 2 (BTA) - There are 274 new coronavirus cases in
Bulgaria after 2,447 tests were done in 24 hours, according to
data posted on the national coronavirus platform on Saturday.
The test positivity rate is 11 per cent.

This brings the total number of cases to 202,540 since March.
The tests done so far total 1,157,730.

The active cases are 74,593. On Friday, there were 4,747
patients being treated in hospital, including 462 in intensive
care.

The daily recoveries stand at 816, bringing the total to
120,343.

The daily death toll is 28, bringing the total to 7,604.
