site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 1,029 New Cases and 9.55% Rate of Positive Tests in Bulgaria on Tuesday

Sofia, January 5 (BTA) - There are 1,029 new coronavirus cases
in Bulgaria after 10,774 tests done 24 hours before midnight on
Monday, according to the national coronavirus information
portal. It makes a rate of positive tests of 9.55 per cent.

A total of 157 patients lost the battle to COVID in the past
day, bringing the death toll of the pandemic to 7,835.

The recoveries total 124,624 since the start of the pandemic,
including 2,213 in the latest daily update.

A total of 4,405 patients are in hospital, including 411 in
intensive care.
  
Bulgaria has had 204,080 confirmed coronavirus cases since the
start of the panemic and 71,624 are still active.

A total of 1,173,704 tests for coronavirus have been done in
