site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 105 New Cases, Test Positivity Rate at 6.45%

January 11 (BTA) - There are 105 new coronavirus cases in Bulgaria after 1,629 tests were done in 24 hours, according to data posted on the national coronavirus platform on Monday morning. The test positivity rate is 6.45 per cent.

This brings the total number of cases to 208,511 since March. The active cases are 65,126.

The highest number of new cases in the last 24 hours were registered in Sofia-city (30), followed by Varna (14) and Pernik (7).

On Sunday, there were 4,205 patients being treated in hospital, including 380 in intensive care.

The daily recoveries stand at 695, bringing the total to 135,259.

The daily death toll is 29, bringing the total to 8,126.

The number of vaccinated persons in Bulgaria stands at 13,473.
