Sofia, January 12 (BTA) - There were 620 new coronavirus cases in Bulgaria after 7,804 tests were done in 24 hours, according to data posted on the national coronavirus platform on Tuesday. The test positivity rate is nearly 8 per cent.

The active cases are 63,057. On Monday, there were 4,046 patients being treated in hospital, including 375 in intensive care.

The daily recoveries stand at 2,583, bringing the total to 137,842.

The daily death toll is 106, bringing the total to 8,232.

The total number of confirmed cases is 209,131. The tests done since March total 1,230,338.
