site.bta570 New COVID-19 Cases, 82 Deaths Reported

Sofia, January 19 (BTA) - The Bulgarian healthcare authorities
confirmed 570 new COVID-19 cases in the country in 24 hours on
Monday after 7,964 tests, according to information posted at
http://coronavirus.bg. The positivity rate for the day was 7.16
per cent. Eighty-two people died of the disease on Monday.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria since
the start of the pandemic is 212,383. They were diagnosed after
1,277,606 tests. The death toll since the infection broke out is
 8,565.

There are 39,563 active cases at present. Hospitalized patients
currently number 3,312, including 329 in intensive care. Monday
saw 7,533 patients recover from COVID-19, bringing the total
number of recoveries to 164,255.

A total of 19,638 people in Bulgaria have been vaccinated
against coronavirus so far during the vaccination campaign,
including 1,185 in 24 hours on Monday. NV/VE
