site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 455 New Cases, Less than 5% Test Positivity Rate

Sofia, January 22 (BTA) - There are 455 new coronavirus cases in
 Bulgaria after 7,674 tests done in 24 hours on Thursday, as
reported on the national coronavirus data portal on Friday. The
test positivity rate is 4.93 per cent.

The confirmed cases add up to a total of 213,846 since the start
 of the pandemic in March 2020. The active cases stand at
27,769.

The daily deaths are 90, bringing the total death toll to 8,741.

A total of 3,045 people are in hospital, including 297 in
intensive care.

The daily recoveries are 2,256, adding up to a total of 177,354
since the start of the pandemic.

A total of 25,251 people have been vaccinated, including 1,124
