site.btaCabinet Has until January 26 to Designate Minister in Charge of Preparing General Elections in April

January 22 (BTA) - The Council of Ministers will have until January 26 to assign
the coordination and technical organization of the parliamentary elections to a specific
minister, the Central Election Commission said here on its website Friday.

The elections will be held April 4.

CEC said it will also open by January 26 a designated section on its website providing information about machine voting.

On Wednesday, CEC elected Dimiter Glavchev Dimitrov as its Spokesperson.

Dimitrov replaced Alexander Andreev, who became CEC Chair last year. RY/MY
