February 18 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 233,342 after 11,545 tests identified 1,246 new infections on Wednesday, according to data posted on https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at 10.79 per cent.

The active cases are 24,710. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 3,613, including 296 in intensive care.

Another 564 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 198,888.

With 4,582 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 85,920 persons in aggregate have been vaccinated against the coronavirus. RI/MY
