She pointed out that 31 people had initially requested evacuation, with the number rising to 37 in the final hours of 24-25 April. She said the evacuations were carried out by land and by aircraft of Bulgaria's partner countries.

39 Bulgarians Evacuated from Sudan, 25 of Them Are in Bulgaria

Thanks to the efforts of the Foreign Ministry's Situation Centre and Bulgaria's Embassy in Cairo, 39 Bulgarian citizens have been evacuated from Sudan, and 25 of them have already arrived in Bulgaria, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BTA on Sunday. The remaining 14 persons are currently in Egypt.
