site.btaHealth Minister Orders Reopening of Restaurants as of March 1

Sofia, February 26 (BTA) - As of March 1, restaurants and
entertainment venues as defined in the Tourism Act will reopen
for customers between 6 am and 11 pm. Discotheques, bar-clubs,
piano-bars, variety bars and night bars will resume work on
April 1. The businesses reopening on March 1 are required to
work at no more than half their seating capacity, with no more
than six customers per table, and obligatory face masks for the
staff, by order of Health Minister Kostadin Angelov, his
ministry said on Friday.

The same conditions apply to casinos and gambling halls
reopening on March 1.

As of March 1, group tourist trips with organized transportation
 can be carried out in Bulgaria, and as of April 1 - also
abroad.

As of March 1, in-person classes are allowed in schools for
pupils with sensory disabilities. The sessions must comply with
the directive on the work of the education system amid the
COVID-19 crisis drawn up by the ministries of health and
education.

By the same order of the Health Minister, in-person classes will
 be allowed in language teaching centers, educational centers,
etc. The requirements include observing 1.5 meters of social
distance, wearing face masks, airing the rooms every hour and
disinfecting.

Fairs and exhibitions are also allowed on condition that the
traffic of visitors is organized in one-way lanes and a social
distance of 1.5 meters is observed.
