March 1 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 247,038 after 2,531 tests identified 332 new infections on Monday, according to data posted on https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at 13.1 per cent.

The active cases are 31,302. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 4,744, including 394 in intensive care.

Another 408 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours.

24 fatalities were reported, and the death toll now adds up to 10,191.

With 2,685 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, the doses administered add up to 212 445.
