site.btaSofia University Moves Up to 551st Place in 2021 International Ranking

Sofia, March 5 (BTA) - The Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia
has climbed to the 551st place among world universities in the
QS World University Rankings by Subject for 2021.Announcing its
new ranking, this university said that for yet another year, its
 achievements place it mong the best higher educational
establishments in the world, and its research activity is
appreciated highly.

The ranking provides independent comparative analysis of 13,883
university programmes at 1,440 universities, including 51
academic subject and five broad faculty fields. The universities
 are evaluated on the basis of four criteria: academic
reputation, reputation among employers, reference of
publications and N-factor.

The other Bulgarian university in the ranking is the Medical
University in Sofia, which is 601st.

Sofia University has climbed 150 places in the ranking for
2021./RY/BR
