Sofia, March 13 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases
in Bulgaria reached 275,859 after 17,161 tests identified 3,159
new infections on Saturday, according to data posted on
https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate
now stands at 18.4% per cent.

A total of 1,826,934 tests have been performed in this country
since the first infections were diagnosed on March 8, 2020.

Sofia City Region tops the list of new cases with 841 positive
tests, followed by Bourgas Region 294 with and Plovdiv Region with 223 cases 243 new cases.

The active cases are 41,183. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 6,818, including 506 in intensive care.

The infected medical staff have reached 10,757, with 57 new
cases detected in the last 24 hours.

Another 1,697 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 223,480.

102 fatalities were reported, and the death toll now adds up to
11,196.

With 12,214 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 336,660
persons in aggregate have been vaccinated against the
coronavirus, of whom 57,336 have received both doses.
