site.btaGoogle Street View Cars Return to Bulgaria to Update Images from Country

March 25 (BTA) - Cars of Google Street View will hit Bulgarian roads starting March 26 to update the available images of settlements, roads and motorways in this country, the Google company said. Through the 360-degree images offered by Google Street View, users can already visit most of Bulgaria's cities and many natural sights, architectural and museum reserves, national and city parks.

The infrastructure in and between cities changes and develops in time, therefore Google strives to update regularly the images available. The new images will help users orient themselves better when travelling to various destinations.

Google Street View cars came to Bulgaria for the first time in 2012, and the photos they took were made available in March 2013. In addition to images of streets and roads, Google offers panoramic pictures of pedestrian zones in Bulgaria's cities, as well as other locations inaccessible by car.
