site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 3,860 New Cases, Test Positivity Rate at 20%

April 6 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in
 Bulgaria reached  356,859 after 19,210 tests identified 3,860
new infections on Monday, according to data posted on
https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate for the day
stands at 20 per cent.

The active cases are 69,644. There are 10,402 patients in
hospital, including 734 in intensive care.

Another 2,996 COVID-19 patients recovered in Bulgaria on Monday,
  bringing the total to 273,429. Meanwhile, 197 fatalities were
reported and the death toll now stands at 13,786.

The capital Sofia tops the list of new cases with 1,029 positive
 tests, followed by Plovdiv with 384 and Varna with 251.

With 6,479 new inoculations on Monday, 510,049 vaccine doses
have been administered so far and 102,427 people have received
