site.btaDimitar Dimitrov Dismissed from Head Position of Anti-Fraud Directorate at State Fund for Agriculture

Sofia, July 18 (BTA) - Dimitar Dimitrov, director of the
Anti-Fraud Directorate at the State Fund for Agriculture (SFA),
has been relieved of his post, the SFA said on Friday.

"There are suspicions that the directorate he headed was a the
fund's bat against beneficiaries under various measures (farmers
 and municipalities), as well as against employees," the
statement said.

A comprehensive inspection of the activities of the Anti-Fraud
Directorate is currently being carried out.

The SFA appealed to all victims to submit signals to the fund
and the competent authorities in the country.

SFA management assured that all signals will be considered in a
timely and objective manner and will be taken into account. The
State Fund for Agriculture will also take the relevant legal
