Sofia, October 21 (BTA) - According to final data, the government debt of Bulgaria for 2020 stands at 29,602 million leva or 24.7 per cent of GDP, the National Statistical Institute reported reported here on Thursday.
The General Government Institutional Sector reported a deficit of 4,780 million leva or 4.0 per cent of GDP in 2020.
The deficit in the Central Government sub-sector amounted to 5,284 million leva or 4.4 per cent of GDP. The Local Government sub-sector reported a surplus of 339 million leva and the sub-sector Social Security Funds reported a surplus of 165 million leva. LG/MY
