site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 4,816 New Cases, Test Positivity Rate at 10.17%

October 22 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases
 in Bulgaria reached  559,893, after 47,370 tests identified
4,816 new infections on Fтriday], according to data posted on
https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at
10.17 per cent.

The active cases are 72,022. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 6,608, including 590 in intensive care.

Another 1,450 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 465,032.

A total of 120 fatalities were reported, 92,50 per cent of whom
were unvaccinated, and the death toll now adds up to 22,839.

With 28,191 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 2,685,512
vaccine doses have been administered so far.RY/DT
